The purpose of this position is to interpret, analyze, recommend and implement management information systems; to develop and implement computer software application programs and systems for user departments; to implement and maintain network infrastructure, applications and computer systems, and to perform related professional and technical work as required.
Bachelors degree in computer science, network engineering, or closely related field with four (4) years of progressively responsible work experience in implementing and maintaining network infrastructure, applications and computer systems; programming skills preferred.
Must possess and maintain a valid SC Class D Drivers License and have an acceptable driving record. Must have knowledge of personal and peripheral equipment with skill in doing data entry and in the use of Microsoft Office 2003/2007-Windows 7 preferred, utilizing Outlook and all associated software programs, as well as OS (Operating Systems) management. May be required to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, etc., as needed, in order to accomplish assigned work. Will be required to provide twenty-four (24) hour maintenance support on a rotating on-call basis.
