Envision Physician Services is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to become part of our prestigious practice at Raulerson Hospital located in Okeechobee, Florida.

Raulerson Hospital is an integral part of the community and the sole hospital provider in Okeechobee County. It has been said that Raulerson Hospital offers what large hospitals can, but in a smaller setting.

ED Features:

• 29,000 ER visits per year
• 11-bed ED, including 3 fast-track
• 20% admission rate
• 24 hours of physician coverage
• 24 hours of APP coverage
• Active partnership with sister facility with a close proximity for Trauma

Qualified candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible EM or Board certified FM or IM with EM experience, Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) with at least 24 months of current Emergency Room experience.

Raulerson Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility providing the community of Okeechobee and the surrounding areas a full range of medical, surgical and emergency services. This Emergency Room­ is comprised of 11 beds including 3 in fast-track and sees an annual patient volume of 29,000. ­ Raulerson Hospital has an approximate admission rate of 20% and has an active partnership with its sister facility with a close proximity for Trauma, OB, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery and Pediatric support/transfers. It also­ provides 24 hours of physician coverage as well as 24­ hours of Advanced Practice Professional coverage.
