How Fox Factory attracted over 70k applicants in 4 months with CareerArc [Video]

When Fox Factory, a leading manufacturer and designer of ATVs, mountain bikes, off-road vehicles, first considered looking for a social recruiting solution, they didn’t have much of a social media presence at all.

Then they partnered with CareerArc, and everything changed.

We sat with Alex Tamez, Talent Acquisition Supervisor at Fox Factory to talk about their experience using CareerArc. Here’s their story.

70,000 clicks and follows throughs within four months

Before CareerArc, for our talent side we really didn’t have much of a social media presence at all. We were looking for something that was a little more automated to assist in our day to day. We didn’t have someone that was dedicated to just do posts non-stop. And so CareerArc gave us the ability to do that and actually build out our calendar for the month, or three months, in advance for any kind of targets that we’re looking for.

Right before COVID hit, we had over 70,000 clicks and follow throughs within four months. So huge increase in following on our LinkedIn page, and LinkedIn solely was responsible for running that–along with the job maps you guys produced for us as well. So using all of that definitely gave us a huge upturn, to the point where we almost couldn’t look at all of our resumes.

Using CareerArc to better target their recruiting

It’s given us the ability to really pinpoint our marketing and actually aim for certain locations, certain schools, certain places where our top candidates are coming from. And so it’s actually given us the ability to track all of those milestones—what we’re looking for and where it’s coming from—so we can focus our marketing in those areas. It’s actually given us the ability to really pinpoint what we’re looking for and find it a little quicker. We just did our statistics and our recruiting spend numbers are below the national average. And I think a large portion of that is because CareerArc has helped.

A new focus on employer branding

Because of all of our transitioning due to COVID, we’ve actually started transitioning all of our branding. Instead of just using our marketing pages, we’ve created talent acquisition pages that work solely on recruiting. So those are really helping us to go out and brand who we are as a culture and what kind of individuals we’re looking for that would enjoy working for us. And so CareerArc’s really helped us pinpoint those people and really get out to the community who we are and what we’re looking for.
