SUMMARY:
The Assistant Manager, Advocacy and Influence (Organic), is an entry-to-mid level role within the Social Media & Advocacy Team, providing essential support to the Manager of Advocacy and Influence (Organic). This position is for individuals looking to grow their expertise in influencer marketing, community advocacy, and relationship management. The Assistant Manager (Organic) will focus on the daily execution and logistical support of our brand's organic influencer programs, product gifting initiatives, and advocacy campaigns. This role is ideal for a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual eager to learn and contribute to cultivating brand love and expanding SalonCentric's share of influence within the professional salon community.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Influencer Program Support & Execution:
o Provide direct support to the Manager of Advocacy and Influence (Organic) in the day-to-day operational execution of SalonCentric's organic advocacy and influencer programs.
o Alongside the agency partner, assist in coordinating logistics for the organic influencer activations, ensuring smooth communication and delivery of assets to our organic social media ambassadors.
o Support the coordination and execution of organic product gifting, including preparing and shipping products, managing recipient lists, and tracking delivery.
o Assist with the management outreach lists and coordinating send-outs.
o Review and approved influencer lists and organic campaign briefs from agency partner.
o Support coordination of information and guidelines for employee / retail store advocacy program alongside the Manager.
o Help ensure that all influencer-generated content adheres to established brand guidelines and legal compliance requirements (e.g., FTC disclosures) by conducting initial reviews.
o Provide administrative support to the Advocacy and Influence team, including assisting with budget tracking and ensuring program compliance for audits.
o Stay ahead of the latest trends and best practices in influencer marketing and community building. Research and identify new opportunities to leverage organic influencer partnerships to drive brand awareness and advocacy.
• Relationship & Content Coordination:
o Assist the Manager in managing communications with the organic agency partners, as well as individual salon professionals, influencers, and brand advocates within assigned organic programs, ensuring timely and positive interactions.
o Work closely with the organic agencies in ensuring timely coordination, tracking, and review processes of influencer deliverables.
o Assist in maintaining organized internal databases of influencer contacts and content deliverables.
o Assist in fostering active engagement and conversations within the broader salon professional and employee communities related to advocacy programs.
o Support efforts to identify compelling content from our organic campaigns to Social Media Platform Strategy and Social Content Strategy teams for potential feature across SalonCentric's owned channels.
• Performance Tracking & Reporting Support:
o Gather and organize data for performance tracking of organic influencer campaigns and advocacy programs, monitoring key metrics such as Share of Influence (SOI), Share of Engagements (SOE), Share of Mentions (SOM), and Share of Views (SOV).
o Support the Manager in compiling and analyzing data and insights from campaign / program performance to contribute to internal reports.
o Utilize influencer marketing platforms and analytics tools for compiling and tracking data.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:
o Collaborate with the Manager to understand organic program objectives and contribute to their execution.
o Assist in communicating program updates and logistical information to internal teams and external partners as directed.
o Support the team's efforts to ensure seamless integration of advocacy and influencer initiatives with broader social media strategies and campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in social media & influencer marketing preferred.
• Understanding of social media platforms and the influencer landscape.
• Experience supporting marketing campaigns across digital channels.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Able to provide clear and constructive feedback to internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project management programs (e.g. Monday.com, Airtable, Wrike) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and collaborative demeanor.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in influencer marketing and community building.
• Familiarity with social media and/or influencer management tools required.
• Experience within the beauty or professional salon industry is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Travel required as needed.
