- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports - High school diploma or equivalent, AA degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred - Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight - 3+ years of relevant experience in bookkeeping - Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds - Experience with payroll preferred - Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets - A thorough knowledge of accrual and cash basis of accounting - Highly organized and self-motivated - Prior experience with Excel and Peachtree - Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) - QuickBooks experience - Journal entries experience - Accounts Receivable (AR) experience - Knowledge of Bookkeeping Functions
