Position: Fleet Response Specialist

Estimated Length: 1 Year (possible extension to 2 years)

Shifts Vary Due to 24/7 365 Day Operation

AM: 8:30am-5:30pm

PM: 5:00pm-2:00am

ML: 12:00am-9:00am

(1hr Lunch Break Included in 8hr shift)

Pay: $22/hr.

Job description:

We are partnering with our client the “World's Largest Search Engine” looking for entry-level Autonomous Vehicle Technical Support Role staffed through Adecco. You'll be responsible for monitoring the health and performance of specific autonomous vehicles. You will develop thorough knowledge of the cars system's proprietary hardware and software. Keen focus is required, as you will rely on real-time data to make decisions. You are comfortable in high pressure situations, can adapt to new technology and systems easily, enjoy working on cutting edge technology, and can handle the challenges that provides.

The mission is to make it safe and easy for people and things to move around. Professionalism, care, and personal responsibility are required at all times. Associates must pass a number of training checkpoints, and are expected to keep all project details confidential.

Responsibilities

  • Exercise superior judgement when making critical decisions.
  • Assess and analyze real world and simulated situations to support vehicle operations in the field.
  • Pay close attention to small details that may impact the car's behavior.
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly switch from one detail-oriented task to the next.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 years relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in QA or Operations
  • Must Pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Report Screen)
  • Self-starter with creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Able to focus on a single task for long periods of time.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • 5 years of driving experience
  • Top Qualities:

  • Excellent computer skills (familiarity, comfort, desire to learn) (Computer Skill Proficiency, Keyboard Dexterity);
  • Able to pick up and adapt to new technology and systems easily (Critical Thinking, Learning Aptitude, Adaptability and Positive Attitude);
