Description
Our client is a defense contractor (based in Europe) that is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its staff supporting long-standing client in RI. Primary duties include:
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance as well as installations and modifications of manufacturing machinery.
- Ensure working areas are safe in accordance with SOP's and OSHA
Position reports to respective Shift Supervisor.
Ideal candidates for Maintenance Technician will possess the following:
- Associates degree in electro-technology, vocational/trade schooling and/or military (technical) training.
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of LEAN (5S), GMP, and OSHA
- Must be able to obtain/pass US Government clearance
