Looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team!

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors' degree in mechanical/industrial engineering preferred
  • 3-5 years' experience in automotive manufacturing/engineering preferred
  • Prior machining/production fixture background required
  • SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD experience
  • Mastercam and CNC lathe programming experience preferred
  • Plex ERP system experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • What you will do:

     The manufacturing engineer develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. This position reports to the Engineering Manager and the environment is split between an office and plant setting.

    Tasks:

  • Create process drawings and blueprints
  • Design fixturing and work holding on production machines
  • Design robot end of arm tooling
  • Investigate, diagnose, and implement improvements to enhance process/operation efficiency
  • Support all departments within the manufacturing facility providing technical expertise
  • What you will need:                                      

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processing and/or manufacturing engineering in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of process efficiency, error proofing (poke yoke), lean manufacturing, process controls, and gauging
  • Experience with robotics in manufacturing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Ability to problem solve in a fast paced manufacturing setting
  • Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills
