Adecco Medical & Science is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant in Arlington, TX! This role is contract to hire. Please read below and apply with an updated resume if you are interested.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Perform all duties in accordance with clinical, OSHA and infection control standards
2. Assist the physician and/or associate practitioner with procedures and treatments
3. Escorts patients to exam rooms, interviews patient, measures vital signs (including weight, blood pressure, pulse and temperature) and documents in patients chart
4. Record patients medical history, health maintenance and chief complaint
5. Document all patient related communication and interventions in patients EMR (Nextgen)
Must have qualifications/experience:
1. High school graduate or GED equivalent
2. Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification
3. 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant or related experience in a medical setting
4. Bilingual (English/Spanish) language PREFERRED
5. ICD-9/10 and CPT coding experience
Dress Code: Solid Scrubs (Black, Navy Blue, Grey)
Full Time hours – Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm. No Weekends
MUST HAVE: TB testing in the last 12 months, COVID-19, MMR & Varicella.
Weekly pay on Friday
Pay $23/hourly
