Adecco is working with a company in Madison, WI in Hiring Lab Technicians on 1st and 2nd shift!
Hours:
1st Shift 6:30am – 3:00pm $19/hr
2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm $20/hr
$1000 PERFECT ATTENDANCE BONUS AFTER 30 DAYS!
The Opportunity:
This company offers a technician development program that allows you to start with limited experience and gives opportunities to advance your career. Initially starting as a Technician, you may have the opportunity to become a Technician II, Sr. Technician, Lead Technician or Supervisor.
Work comfortably at a Medical Device manufacturer in our state-of-the-art climate controlled Global Headquarters in beautiful Madison Wisconsin near the airport. We operate 2 shifts:
This role will operate optical lab equipment in at least one of the following areas:
Rx Surface Lab, Glass Button Grinding, Edging or Drilling
Essential Responsibilities:
• Operate equipment in a safe manner to produce quality optical components and assemble as needed to manufacture loupes
• Understand and follow GMP and ISO procedures
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures
• Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills:
• Experience operating optical lab equipment
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with prescription lenses and diagnostic equipment
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures
• Speak, Read and write English
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs frequently
• Ability to work overtime during week and weekends as needed
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day.
