Description

Production Technician: 

Work in team setting to perform an array of functions that may include carpentry, mechanical, and basic plumbing. Plan, organize, and execute all chassis build-outs from start to finish as directed by Truck Build Supervisor located at our Evans City office.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Technical and hands-on capabilities including carpentry, mechanical, and basic plumbing
• Ability to read basic floor plans/dimensions and follow Company vehicle build sheets
• Demonstrate safe operation of power tools/equipment
• Completion of forklift training and all safety training within first 60 days of employment as well as all necessary courses and training, throughout employment, to maintain OSHA compliance
• Establish an understanding of the production schedule
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to accurately account for inventory
• Plan, organize, and execute all chassis build-outs from start to finish
• Maintain a clean and safe shop area
• Assess builds thoroughly and accurately for quality assurance

Qualification requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 yrs previous carpentry, production experience preferred
• Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
• Dependable and Reliable
