Adecco has partnered with a family-owned manufacturing company looking for a Sr Project Manager to join their growing team. The company is headquartered in Vernon near Downtown Los Angeles, and are looking for a change agent who can work in the office 5 days a week. The company specializes in the manufacturing and installation of products for the hotel industry and will be overseeing a team of 5 PMs.
The ideal candidate must have a Degree in Project Management, a minimum of 8+ years of experience working within a construction or manufacturing environment, with proven project methodologies to help update and enhance the department's processes, procedures, SOP's & Project Management software, and tracking. The goal is to help the owner provide structure, process, and help to drive and monitor productivity & sales.

- Base Salary of up to $140k + a $10k stipend to cover healthcare benefits
Duties and Responsibilities Institute a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence of meetings and reporting that will begin to provide structure and definition Review the current processes and algin best practices and create SOP's Look at Gap measures to create automation within the team's processes and procedures Integrate new project management software tool to help track jobs (Currently integrating SalesForce) but open to other options (Microsoft Projects, smartsheet & SQL) Actively participate in the planning, estimating, scheduling, resource loading, and project procurement activities. Leading and coordinating of the project team through all phases of the Project Life-cycle, as required (Front-end Engineering & Scope Development, Detail Design & Implementation, Construction, Commissioning and Startup). Accountable for Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control and Closure of assigned projects Provide feedback, advice, project updates, and encouragement to team members Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed Establish realistic goals and implement action plans for achieving set objectives Develop internal communication strategies useful in ensuring communication between various departments of an organization Motivate team members to meet project goals by effectively carrying out their responsibilities Manage every aspect of a project, including its planning, communication, risk assessment, and resources.
