DescriptionResponds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users. Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to phone calls, email, and verbal requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors a ticket to ensure a timely resolution. Interacts with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications providers to restore service and/or identify and correct problems. Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
Requires experience working in a desktop support position providing support to a large corporate or government customer population. Excellent communications skills as well as a good grasp of related technical topics are needed.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Candidate must have a total of 10 years of applicable experience. The experience can be a combination of degree and work history. This can be a High School degree and 10 years of work history OR an Associate's and 8 years, a Bachelors' and 6 years, a Masters and 4 years or a PhD and 2 years of work history.
Candidate must have the following certification: Security+ CompTIA commercial certification (or higher, such as CISSP, etc.).
Required Clearance: TSSCI with Polygraph.
