Technically lead the design and installation of complex network infrastructures and services, working in a mainly Cisco vendor environment. Creating architectural artefacts and design documentation in line with best practice principles and account standards to achieve world class network solutions for an AT&T Mult-national customer.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The following list specifies general roles and responsibilities of what is expected of the Network Architect:oCarry out the design and implementation of network projects assigned to you, using established processes, best practice principles and configuration against account standards in a timely and quality manner. oUnderstand the architectures and designs standards within the customer environment for all network technology areas. Apply these in all new HLD and LLD project designs. oWork closely with the AT&T BAU account architects where existing documentation is not clear or new technology or functional requirements are to be introduced.oDefinition of overall architecture, technical configuration standards and overall technical management of installations for new service and technologies. oAttend Design Advisory Board (or similar) meetings and collaborate with architects from networks and other technology domains.oProvide technical leadership for network integration of cross tower services, and transform high-level network solutions into detailed implementation designsoSupport AT&T Project Management in project planning activities. Identify the scope of AT&T work and those dependant tasks that sit with the customer their suppliers.oAttend and support customer meetings with AT&T PM to provide technical options to address project challenges.oGuidance in the delivery of projects to project management and engineers.oEnsure day to day operation of the customer business is not impacted by network project changes.oSupport early engagement activities to scope new project demand and identify high level approach to deliver.oProduce high-level network state or network target architecture.oBe able to articulate and demonstrate through measurement the success (or failure) of the overall network architecture and designs oPeer review of technical Architect's solutions for consistency of approach and design.oUnderstand the AT&T Strategic view, SLA and Service Standards and look for opportunities to apply to all customer networking requirements. oConsider the AT&T customer account support and service model and ensure designs are in line with support capabilities.oProduce quality high-level and detailed designs for campus and data centre networks.oCreate low level configurations for a variety of Cisco and other common network vendor devices. oProduce Network Test Plans and acceptance criteria.oAssist network engineering personnel with the complex implementation issues and problem determination.

Education and Qualifications:
oMandatory qualifications: Cisco CCIE R&S.oDesirable Qualifications: CCDE. CCNP Wireless, CCNP Security, Checkpoint CCSE, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE,onetwork management products, ie. Smarts, Action, Voyance, Vitalneto>7 years minimum practical experience working with network technologies within campus and data centre networks.oProficiency at the techniques that go into the formulation of architectures, including requirements discovery and analysis, application of abstraction, formulation of solution context, solution alternatives identification and assessment, technology selection, and architectural configurationoAbility to produce well structured and written documentation (Microsoft Word and Visio).oAbility to liaise and debate across technology boundaries.oKnowledge of architectural frameworks (TOGAF, Frameworx, PEAF)
For Slovakia: Salary from 2120 € brutto per month. Actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.
