This leadership position manages a 20 person technical team responsible for developing manufacturing processes and techniques for the fabrication of all phases of maturity of antennas/ apertures and other composite structures. Maturity of products ranges from engineering development prototypes to high volume production of mature designs. Implementation of APQP/AS-9145/PFMEA/Affordability and NPI principles to drive continuous improvement, improve yield, reduce cycle time and improve affordability are key objectives. This leader will create and execute the overall manufacturing strategy roadmap and plan for fabrication of composite structures across the ECS Business Area. This position will drive key milestones and improvements for all actively executing programs while developing the strategy for future programs and growth.

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
·Provide Technical Oversight to JSF F-35 Aperture programs ·Provide Technical leadership to all aperture and composite structure related programs ·Lead or support complex affordability projects, including future automation efforts ·Develop / mentor next generation of Operations SME's for apertures and composites ·Develop advanced training concepts for Composites / Antenna manufacturing ·Development and execution of manufacturing strategy across multiple sites (NH, NY, VA etc.) ·Develop and implement manufacturing technology roadmap in support of Ramp 2 Rate and NPI programs ·Pursue and execute Manufacturing IRAD projects to advance Operations capability ·Collaborate with FAST Labs and P2L organizations to connect Technology IRAD with Manufacturing IRAD ·Collaborate with Aperture Capability Group to support future Test Range strategy and test execution ·Principal point of contact for ECS P2L team as it relates to apertures and composite structures ·Drive formation of structured NPI team and for future aperture and composites related programs ·Collaborate with EW-IMC and Microwave NPI teams and Leadership to develop standard conops ·Ensure Operations factories remain current with best industry processes, practices, and materials ·Retain direct reports to support affordability efforts, NPI programs, and assist in complex RCCA efforts
Preferred Skills and Education
Must be self-motivated, independent, and capable of leading a large technical operations team. Must have a working familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems and DoD manufacturing and test standards.
