Job Description
This Project Finance Mgr role is within the FAST Labs Business Area (ES Sector). FAST Labs innovates science, technology and engineering breakthroughs for some of the toughest technology challenges in the defense, aerospace, power and propulsion and security industries. This role serves as a business partner to the Autonomy, Control & Estimation Product Line within FAST Labs. The finance organization is a trusted business partner delivering information and innovative solutions for decision-making in order to deliver quality products and capabilities to our customers and, ultimately, the warfighter. As the Finance Manager, you will lead a team of employees and assume financial responsibility for your Product Line. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of individuals who support programs and proposals within your portfolio
- Product Line financial performance, forecasting and reporting
- Program support and financial execution
- Full business partner to your Product Line leadership team
- Proposal leadership
- NBF and Capital planning

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
Proven leadership skills and an ability to train and mentor staff.
Ability to develop solutions to complex problem using ingenuity and innovation.
Ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner.
Strong interpersonal skills to influence and lead diverse work teams.
Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of program costs, revenue recognition, profit, cash and collections.
Ability to make decisions with sound judgement while complying with policies and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Skills and Education

Top Secret Clearance Eligibility
Prior Program Finance experience.
Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, ProPricer and Cobra.
Ability to challenge and improve knowledge of industry practices and standards as well as company policy.
Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers.
