Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for Modeling & Simulation Product Manager to support building M&S Solutions for DOD customers. The Modeling & Simulation Product Manager primary responsibility will be to serve as a liaison performing engineering duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs, define functional requirements, draft and review technical documents, participate in technical reviews, facilitate M&S initiatives, and support Product and Program teams with solution engineering. The M&S Product Manager will be engaged in various aspects of initiative planning, requirements, design, and test contributing to the delivery of high-quality business application solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interfaces with Business Stakeholders and IT applications teams to define, gather, and document business processes and needs, and translate into detailed functional specifications for development.
  • Performs business systems and process analysis of existing and future systems/processes. Conducts interviews and requirements gathering workshops. Ensures sign-off of all artifacts.
  • Assessing business demand requests, determining and documenting business, functional, technical, and security requirements and delivering recommendations to executives and stakeholders.
  • Analyzes current state and emerging technology/application functionality and business needs proactively to add value.
  • Ensure technology solutions align with business needs and strategic goals.
  • Conduct technical and business meetings to provide awareness and track status of application in-flight efforts, and provide meeting minutes, actions, and follow-up discussions where needed.
  • Assess issues, create action plans and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Facilitates working meetings and requirements gathering sessions with all levels of business and technical stakeholders and capable of asking probing questions and be an effective listener.
  • Provide technical/requirements demonstrations as required


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • BS/BA with 7+ years relevant experience
  • Active Secret Clearance eligible for TS/SCI
  • Experience with modeling and simulating decision support tools
  • Knowledge of requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods, CI/CD sessions, use case development
  • Experience with computer security requirements, architectures, and risk management
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and systems considerations to team members and leaders without M&S background
  • Ability to apply creative thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking, strategic thinking, and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Energetic, conscientious, collaborative, and self-starting


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • CISSP Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, concepts, and tools
  • Experience working with system-of-systems or family-of-systems, preferably in a DoD context
  • Knowledge of the use and analysis of M&S data for complex systems
  • PMP Preferred, Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
NOTE: This is a remote position that can be accomplished from anywhere in the continental U.S. There is an expectation of 20% travel to support team and customer engagements as well as integration events on either BAE or customer premises.
