Description

In the role of Sr Staff Technical Product Manager, you will:

  • Own development & execution of product technology & functional capability roadmaps, including migration of training content and history to a SumTotal-enabled Learning Management System
  • Demonstrate product leadership acumen while identifying areas for process re-engineering and transformation
  • Work with functional process owners, regional subject matter experts, and a systems implementation partner to redesign business processes that are more digital, and improve employee experience globally
  • Lead prioritization discussions for business requirements, approve future state design/configurations and ensure successful implementation through the product lifecycle
  • Lead cross functional teams and partners to create, design and implement global design standards for the Learning Management
  • Engage and collaborate closely with the Baker Hughes Workday and Fieldglass platform leadership, global teams, functional stakeholders and other DT technology groups in design, acceptance and implementation of the Learning Management System
  • Own project planning & resource allocation to ensure effective delivery
  • Identify key performance indicators, set milestones, and establish a reporting cadence
  • Manage risk and dependencies between projects & align with standard DT operating mechanisms.
  • As a domain expert for Learning Management, you will engage customers at mid-level management and technical levels to develop/refine portfolio strategy, influence customer & industry direction and execute strategy

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering or 4 years of IT technical experience
  • Minimum 15 years of IT professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Learning Management including leading cross-functional initiatives and/or large global projects

Desired Characteristics:

  • The successful candidate will have significant functional knowledge of HR as well as significant technical knowledge of the core set of digital technologies used by HR  (examples include Workday, SAP, SumTotal, etc.).   Experience is not required in all areas listed, but candidate must show depth in a core set of technologies & have demonstrated HR domain expertise
  • Both types of candidates will be considered: Learning Management experts with significant digital technology exposure or digital technology experts with significant Learning Management domain expertise
  • Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of various project and portfolio management methodologies with track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals
  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
  • Self-starter - requires minimal direction to accomplish goals. Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities
