Role Summary:

The Lead Project Manager will be responsible for theexecution of projects in terms of the main contractual obligations: i.e. fullcompliance with contract scope of supply and agreed technical requirements,timely delivery and quality, as well as achievement of expected profitability.This role will serve as the main interface between the customer and BakerHughes with great visibility inside and outside the company.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Play aproactive role in problem prevention during the Manufacturing life cycle

  • Developand maintain a detailed project schedules considering availability of internalresources, project progress updates, and project integration requirements fromcustomers and third-parties

  • Coordinateproject input requirements, engineering evaluations and customer reviews ofproject deliverables consistent with project schedule and budget requirements

  • Procuresupplemental engineering and licensing services as required

  • Manageproject risk and planning for project contingencies

  • Manageproject cost and project margin, including project forecasting and projectreporting requirements

  • Manageproject scope, including the preparation of project change requests to addresschanged or emergent scope

  • Leadcustomer kick-off meetings, project status meetings, GE site visits, customerproject reviews and customer projects audits

  • Coordinatesupport for regulatory reviews of customer Performance Services licensesubmittals and other Performance Services related deliverables

  • Assesscustomer satisfaction and Baker Hughes performance, including recommendationsfor corrective and preventive actions

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering orBusiness Management from an accredited university or college, OR a TechnicalDiploma (if two year diploma, then must have a minimum of 2 years projectmanagement or manufacturing experience in addition to the below experiencerequirements), OR a High School Diploma / GED and a minimum of 4 years ofproject management or manufacturing experience)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience asa Project Manager (or Project Engineer if current Oil & Gas employee)involving the design, manufacture and installation of subsea multiplex drillingcontrol systems

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience inoperating under and understanding Contractual Terms and Conditions

DesiredCharacteristics:

  • Ability and willingness to travelinternationally and often with short notice

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering(Mechanical or Electrical)

  • Working knowledge of relevant API
  • Customer Centric behavior; abilityto deal with complex customers and meet specific requirements when needed

  • Strong team leadership and teambuilding skills; able to effectively communicate with peers and supervisors

  • Demonstrated knowledge of BakerHughes products and solutions
