Role Summary/Purpose

Mainresponsibilities for the requisition engineer are (1) creating parts lists anddetailed specifications to purchase materials/parts and to machine/assemble/testfor control valves, (2) issuing required documents for customers such as deliveryspecifications and spare parts lists, and (3) performing assigned engineeringworks in accordance with ability.

In Kariwaengineering, maintaining on-time delivery and good quality, and enhancing cost-outprojects are top of the list of priorities.

Essential Responsibilities

Thecandidate in this role will have the following essential responsibilities:

• Create parts list, detailedspecifications, and customer requested documentations of control

valves tosatisfy customers' required specifications with good quality and on-timedelivery

• Communicate appropriately with otherengineers and other group members to proceed

responsibletasks

• Provide engineering supports forcustomers in a timely manner

• Contribute to global engineering projects(cost-out projects, design standardization etc.) and

metrics(on-time delivery, quality, non-conformance, etc.)

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Science coursefrom an accredited university, college, or polytechnic

OR anaccredited industrial high school graduate

• Basic business communication (oral andwriting) skills in Japanese

• Have an interest in manufacturingindustries

• Good at in detailed-oriented works

• Have an experience in using Microsoftoffice (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point etc.)

• Basic reading and writing skills inEnglish

• Active collaboration with others
Desired Characteristics

• Experience in manufacturing operationenvironment

• Have intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoftoffice (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point etc.)

• Experience in working with customers • Experience in working with global teams

• Technical knowledge of control valves andsafety valves

• Oral communication skills in English

• Willingness and ability to travel tocustomers' sites when needed
