Role Summary:


Baker Hughes iscurrently hiring a Solutions Administrator based in Houston, Texas.


The SolutionsAdministrator provides timely, compliant, and confidential management of theinternal dispute resolution and arbitration process for Solutions claims. Thisindividual will work closely with Labor and Employment Counsel, HR managers,people leaders, claimants, third-party arbitrators, and the Dispute ResolutionOrganization to coordinate and track the steps of the process, gather and distributenecessary information, confirm scheduled meetings, maintain Solutionsdocuments, and record and track findings.


EssentialResponsibilities:

  • Coordinate the receipt and processing of employees' claimswith managers and with HR representatives and the Dispute ResolutionOrganization (DRO)

  • Monitor the Company's and employee's compliance with alltime requirements

  • Confirm scheduling of Level I and Level II meetings, as wellas schedule mediation meetings and arbitration hearings at Levels III and IV

  • Process requests for production of information

  • Assist with the Company's participation in pre-arbitration communicationswith arbitrators and with employees regarding specific discovery issues

  • Work with Company representatives, employees, their attorneys,and the Dispute Resolution Organization to select and schedule mediators andarbitrators

  • Function as the Company's administrative liaison with the DisputeResolution Organization

  • Process requests for extensions of Solutions deadlines

  • Assist Legal Counsel in providing written responses toquestions regarding the Solutions process

  • Assist with the processing of settlement payments toclaimants, arbitrators, and the Dispute Resolution Organization

  • Answer questions about the Solutions process

  • Maintain all Solutions files in a secure electronic database

  • Liaison with People Operations& Company Centers of Excellence to procure necessary documentation andrecords

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associate'sdegree in business, legal, human resources or equivalent combination ofeducation and/or experience

  • 3+ years of experience in compliance, disputeresolution, legal, human resources, or other similar functions

  • Proven ability to work in SharePoint and MicrosoftOffice Suite

DesiredCharacteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Paralegal certification preferred

  • Provenproject management skills and ability to coordinate with multiple parties on atight deadline

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and strongattention to detail

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills withboth internal and external parties

  • Provenability to manage confidential information, ensuring that only the rightinformation is disclosed to the proper individuals and parties

    Experience with employee relations and managing disputesand conflict
