Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, is currently hiring for a Sr. Learning Strategy Staff Manager based in Tomball, TX

In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow. Excellent communication skills are essential. If you also have experience designing marketing tools, L&D course, facilitations and managing budgets, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help Baker Hughes succeed by training and developing its people. We are looking for a Sr. Learning Strategy Manager to help our employees advance their skills and knowledge.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
  • Managing large program roll-outs
  • Marketing L&D products to ensure participation
  • Schedule global faculty and vendors
  • Develop and implement learning strategies and programs
  • Manage BH Learning summits (planning and execution)
  • Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
  • Seek out new learning technology (animation, videos, web etc.)
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-10 years of training experience or equivalent
  • Proven experience in L&D, Marketing, customer service or similar
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Proficient in MS Office/MAC products
  • Knowledge of video creation (animated/live)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
  • Willing to travel 30-50% of the time
