Where the Chemistry Happens… Production Technician - 1903120 – East Setauket, NY

This position supports the Production Department by performing all cleaning, and preparation duties as well as performing all pre-weigh functions, in accordance with written and verbal procedures. Responsible for maintaining the integrity and cleanliness of the work area with respect to department standards, policies and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's) while providing support to all Production areas as needed.

Principal Responsibilities –

Participate in all site safety programs. Maintain strong employee driven safety culture.

Perform cleaning of process equipment.

Perform basic assembly and disassembly of pumps for cleaning purposes

Perform cleaning of manufacturing areas.

Remove and compact Manufacturing Refuse.

Clean and sanitize product containers.

Performing weighing of raw materials and finished product in the Preweigh area.

Assist higher level Technicians with producing finished product in the Manufacturing area.

Support Manufacturing department as required.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…

Basic Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or GED required.

1 year of computer experience using Microsoft Office programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Production or manufacturing experience preferred.

Mechanical knowledge preferred. SAP experience preferred.
