Location - Ben Taub Hospital
Responsibilities will be assigned by the Chair and Chief of Service, and may be altered in response to changing Departmental and Division needs. Responsibilities will include providing routine OB/GYN care to women, as well as prenatal care to women with high-risk prgnancies. Serve medically indigent patients. Wll set up ultrasound services in the census tract, and with telemetric support, offer services to other underserved areas within HHS clinics and Ben Taub Hospital.
There will also be an expectation to participate in research projects as needed. All faculty are expected to participate in the education mission of the College.
Candidate must agree to discharge their duties and responsibilities faithfully, to abide by all rules, regulations, and policies and to devote to the performance of your duties and responsibilities the amount of time and effort for which you are employed by the College. Candidate will be allowed to spend up to one-fifth of your effort on activities outside BCM (consulting, scientific board service, etc.), but outside time commitments beyond this require prior approval of the Chair and Chief of Service.Job Qualifications:
Candidate must have a valid Texas Medical License.
