We are an award-winning, technology-driven, financially-stable media organization that owns and operates 69 newspapers located in desirable markets in Alabama, Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. We are a leading provider of news, information and advertising across various print and digital platforms. The Digital Specialist works collaboratively with the outside Account Executives and management to drive digital revenue. The Digital Specialist plays a key "lead by example" role in the accomplishment of sales initiatives through enhancement of existing accounts' spending and the development of new clients. Success in this position is accomplished through a combination of collaborative sales efforts with the outside sales staff and solo direct sales efforts on targeted prospects and initiatives. Experience and success in selling digital advertising sales (display, search, video, social, website development, reputation management, etc is required. The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated team player with a proven track record of sales success, particularly with new revenue-generating digital initiatives. On-site, regular and reliable transportation is required to safely drive to and from various locations.
