A part time Advertising Assistant with Lee Enterprises is responsible for
increasing the quality and efficiency of their department through basic
administrative and office support activities.
Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing
visitors, word processing, inputting job orders, creating spreadsheets and
presentations, filing, and faxing. Strong software skills are required, as well
as organizational and communication skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist in the delivery of tear sheets, ad proofs, etc. as directed by the advertising
Have knowledge of all available sales materials, including rate cards, and be able
to use them effectively when answering questions from advertisers.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of product knowledge.
Assist manager with setting up the production calendar, typing reports, and other
misc. office duties.
On-site,regular and reliable attendance is required.
Safely drive to and from various locations.
Be punctual and professional at all times.
Have and maintain a vehicle for use on the job when necessary.
Have and maintain a safe driving record, as well as auto insurance.
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assists in special projects as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree inbusiness or
data processing; or one year related experience and/or training;or equivalent combination of education and experience
