Description

As a Digital Sales Specialist, you will be a key driver of new Digital revenues for our company. You will be responsible for developing new business and growing existing accounts through the sale of our extensive digital product suite including Web, Mobile, Audience Extension, E-Mail Marketing, Search Engine Marketing, Reputation Management and Social Media advertising. This position will have an emphasis on our Daily Deals, Contests and Find Local product suites. It is an entry-level sales position with opportunity for rapid advancement. In addition, part of your work will be in tandem with our current sales force facilitating revenue growth for digital media. This includes training others, developing proposals, pricing, presentations as well as managing, optimizing and reporting on campaigns to drive incremental revenue. Regular and reliable, on-site attendance is required. Must have a valid driver license, current auto insurance and a good motor vehicle report.

Required Skills

The successful candidate will be:

  • A motivated team player who embraces multi-platform media sales opportunities and excels in prospecting, closing and retaining customers.

  • Well-versed in digital media, and exhibit excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.

  • Eager to learn, take direction well and keep up with industry trends and terms.

  • Dedicated to achieving goals that may require minimal evening work.

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage time extremely well with minimal supervision.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Experience

  • At least 3 years of digital sales and product knowledge

  • New business development, presentation & interpersonal communication skills, a proven track record of high closing ratio a plus

  • Selling to local businesses in the Greensboro metro area would be a distinct advantage

  • Google Certification, Salesforce and SEO experience would be a plus
