The District Supervisor is responsible for the operations and financial success of their district/zone. This position directly supervises District Supervisors and Circulation Runners/Service Assistants including hiring, training, appraising performance, coaching and disciplining, as well as handling terminations. The District Supervisor will be responsible for addressing complaints and resolving problems. All responsibilities will be carried out in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. The District Supervisor works closely with transportation and customer service to accomplish distribution requirements for assigned region. This position requires the ability to work flexible hours as the situation warrants. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and three to five years related experience and/or training including supervision and management; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Regular and reliable, on-site attendance is required. Must have a valid driver license, a good motor vehicle report and current auto insurance.
