We are seeking a National Account Manager to represent the BH Media Group through the selling and servicing of advertising programs to current and potential national and major retail advertisers and agencies, by forging positive relationships with the customers and agencies through in-person meetings, consistent courteous communication in a fair and honest manner.This is a role with corporate responsibility to operate as an effective and constructive partner with all BHMG properties. The position will report to the chairman of the BH National Advisory Committee.
Essential Job Functions:
Continually analyze and identify company-wide opportunities through rate and distribution comparisons.
Continually analyze the needs of current and potential clients to identify and propose programs that meet those needs
Focus on retaining existing revenues and positioning Company to secure new advertising revenues from all categories:print, digital, event partnerships, etc.
Establish relationships with new accounts and improve relationships with existing accounts
Maintain quality relationships with executive leadership in all BHMG markets with regular communication.This includes listening to local needs and revenue concerns while developing company-wide strategies.
Sell all multi-media products, packages and services; participate in Company efforts to identify new products and opportunities for clients
Manage contracts/agreements on an
ongoing basis, ensure all are managed to the benefit of the Company and the client
Ensure appropriate contacts have current and up-to-date materials for rates, circulation, zoning, etc. for all publications represented
Research account's key personnel, contacts, consumers and competitors
Organize product information that is meaningful and relevant to the client for use in sales presentations
When applicable study demographic data and consumer profiles to identify desired target audiences for advertisers
Provide the highest level of customer service to customers, both internally and externally
Provide regular communication to Supervisor on client status, challenges and opportunities
Work with the Company and clients to identify strengths and weaknesses of current BH products and develop initiatives to improve them for our customers as well as to increase the advertising revenue from them
*Ideal candidate will be located near one of our BH Media Group sites -Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Texas, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma and New Jersey. This position will require 10-20% travel
