Under little direction, the Application Analyst III for Epic is responsible for planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining Epic software applications. Builds collaborative relationships with hospital leadership, clinical department users, IS and other corporate departments to facilitate usage and acceptance of the system. This role serves as a technical expert and applies advanced skillset (e.g. programming/configuration skills) to resolve more complex build and configuration tasks and resolve advanced issues. Frequently serves as a liaison between Infrastructure and/or vendor technical contacts. May be responsible for system integrity. Required to obtain Epic certification(s) within 6 months of hire/transfer date or within 6 weeks of last Epic class completion, whichever is sooner.
