Bon Secours Neuroendovascular
The Bon Secours Cerebrovascular and Stroke Center was formed in 2018 to provide the upstate region with high quality, compassionate cerebrovascular and stroke care. The Cerebrovascular and Stroke Center was recognized in 2019 by the American Heart Association with Target Stroke Elite Plus and the Get with the Guidelines Gold Plus awards. We are in the process of becoming a comprehensive stroke center by the end of 2019. This is a new program, but it is quickly growing, and Bon Secours Mercy Health is fully committed to the program and community. We have a brand new 256 slice CT scanner and new GE biplane currently being installed with plans for further expansion of the neurosciences program.
Bon Secours Neuroendovascular currently has one Endovascular Neurosurgeon and one Nurse Practitioner. We are looking for an Endovascular Neurologist to join our team. Qualified physicians will have completed fellowships in Vascular Neurology, Neurocritical Care and Endovascular Neurology. This position will also include a Medical Directorship of the Stroke Program and a Co-Directorship of the Cerebrovascular and Stroke Center.
