Corporate Analytics Technical Risk Lead
Serve as a team member in an internal Booz Allen Hamilton organization, which oversees technical risk assessments for the entire firm. Leverage experience with data science to implement big data or machine learning solutions and apply expertise to help ensure that projects are on-track and risks are identified and properly mitigated. Provide independent evaluations for a large portfolio of technical delivery projects, comprehend their changing risk posture on an ongoing basis, and perform project execution and risk evaluations of business opportunities or client proposals. Provide summary analyses on the evolving portfolio risks through meetings and reviews with firm-wide management, program and project managers, senior executives, and market leads. Create a culture of quality consciousness that strives to continually learn and improve. Perform risk management instructional development and delivery, personnel supervision, goal development and guidance to staff, recruiting and hiring recommendations, and working sessions to continuously improve technical risk review processes.
-10+ years of experience in developing solutions with data mining and machine learning algorithms applied to large and complex data sets
-Experience with technical quality or risk management
-Experience in interfacing with technical and management personnel at all levels
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or CS
-Experience with complex software development a plus
-Possession of excellent analytical and independent thinking and decision-making skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-MA or MS degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Data Science, or CS
