Blue Team and Verification and Validation Analyst
Apply expertise in Cybersecurity as a Blue Team Verification and Validation (V&V) professional, including assessing client systems for initial accreditation and re-accreditation. Apply comprehension of the DoD RMF process and how it applies to managing client infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. Coordinate with clients to schedule Blue Team or V&V missions and communicate tool sets used during the assessment. Brief senior leadership on the results of assessments and answer technical questions related to those findings. Apply comprehension of the DoD Cyber Incident Handling Program, CJCSM 6510.01B, and security frameworks, including FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, DoD STIGs, and COBIT to each mission. Leverage expertise in Splunk to aggregate, correlate, and analyze data points for final reports and dashboards and author technical reports for each mission.
-3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, including V&V, Blue Team, ACAS, SCAP, and STIGs
-3+ years of experience with the detailed design, installation, and configuration of IT systems and networks in accordance with DoD Cybersecurity policies, including DoDI 8500.2 and DoD STIGs, such as configuration and use of security products
-Experience with Cyber threat methodologies, including Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK Matrix, and the Diamond Model
-Experience with Cybersecurity, including MS Server and workstation OS configurations, Red Hat Linux Enterprise OS security configurations, UNIX OS security configurations, VMWare security, database security, encryption standards, or auditing
-Knowledge of commercial Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, including Tanium, CarbonBlack, or CrowdStrike Falcon
-BA or BS degree in CS, IT, or Cybersecurity
-DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM I Certification
