Business Intelligence Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Work closely with the business users of the data to collect, build, cleanse, assemble, and refine datasets to support the variety of data analytics needs put forward by business stakeholders. Use technology to mine complex, voluminous, and different varieties of data from various sources and platforms to collect, analyze, and compile data to meet client needs. Build data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers to monitor and report on data. Improve the quality of data use and usability by driving knowledge and adherence to the principles of data quality management, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in designing and developing advanced reporting, business intelligence, or data visualization tools, including MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Qlik

-3+ years of experience in data technologies, including query, ETL, and data analysis

-2+ years of experience in MicroStrategy development

-Experience in administrating business intelligence tools, including installing, configuration, and managing user groups

-Experience in developing reports and dashboards with Redshift data

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with data analytics in Big Data systems, including Hadoop, HDFS, Map Reduce, Hive, and Spark

-Experience in data mining and data quality

-Experience in advanced data analytics, including R, Python, and SAS
