Configuration Management Specialist, Junior

Key Role:

Design, develop, and recommend integrated security system solutions that will ensure proprietary or confidential data and systems are protected. Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions. Interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Configure and validate secure complex systems and test security products and systems to detect security weakness.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS maintenance or implementation

-1 year of experience with tracking, logging, categorizing, and maintaining changes made against accepted system baseline standards under supervision

-Ability to develop, distribute, and track all change packages resulting from approved Configuration Control Board actions

-Ability to train personnel by conducting workshops and seminars on the proper methodology to maintain a proactive CM program

-Ability to provide daily support and direction to staff in the areas of changes to status requirements, deadlines, and problem solving

-Ability to lead junior staff in providing onsite logistics support, installation, integration and system administration of government provided technical solutions

-Ability to work directly with vendors for all parts, components, and services covers under warranty after notifying a government representative

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II Certification
