Configuration Management Specialist, Mid

We're looking for a systems administrator to provide the integrity and security of servers and systems and serve as a front line interface to users with technical issues that will help us accomplish goals to advance the full range of engineering support necessary to incorporate new and future technologies to proactively protect, detect, and respond to Cyber threats.
As a systems administrator on our project, you'll design, develop, and recommend integrated security system solutions that will ensure proprietary and confidential data and systems are protected. Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions. Interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Configure and validate secure complex systems and test security products and systems to detect security weaknesses. You'll provide your customers with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like tracking, logging, categorizing, and maintaining changes made against the client's accepted system baselines and standards. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. -3 years of experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS maintenance or implementation
-3 years of experience with tracking, logging, categorizing, and maintaining changes made against the accepted system baseline standards under supervision
-Ability to develop, distribute, and track all change packages resulting from approved Configuration Control Board actions
-Ability to train personnel by conducting workshops and seminars on the proper methodology to maintain a proactive CM program
-Ability to provide daily support and direction to staff in the areas of changes to status requirements, deadlines, and problem resolution
-BA or BS degree
-DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II Certification
