Enterprise Cybersecurity Analyst

Key Role:

Serve as a trusted Cybersecurity subject matter expert with a focus on enterprise capability integration, strategic planning, and implementation to support a senior DoD client. Review existing and planned information systems architectures and networks to provide targeted recommendations to prevent, mitigate, or remediate potential security risks. Track security capability implementation efforts across Combatant Commands, services, and agencies to support the warfighter and promote a Joint enterprise of information systems and networks. Communicate complex technical requirements to senior government officials and high-ranking military personnel in the form of briefings and technical whitepapers. Support the acquisition process by conducting capability planning research and analysis, including identifying gaps in both current and planned enterprise Cybersecurity implementations. Coordinate meetings with vendors to assist with potential integration of their products into the DoD enterprise. This position requires working full-time on the client site and is located in Arlington, VA.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with Cybersecurity

-2+ years of experience in working with DoD Cybersecurity policy and instruction

-1+ years of experience with reviewing complex Cybersecurity requirements and generating insights or briefings for both technical and non-technical senior leaders

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-DoD 8570 Compliant Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with other DoD and national agencies

-Experience with DoD STIGs and NIST Cybersecurity guidance

-Knowledge of the proper implementation of capabilities within a network architecture, including firewalls, intrusion prevention or detection systems, endpoint security systems, cross-domain solutions, anomalous network behavior detection, security information event management, data loss prevention, and application whitelisting

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-CISM or CISSP Certification
