Global Force Management Analyst

Key Role: 

Conduct analysis of mid to long term strategic and operational plans, higher headquarters (HHQ) plans, orders, and operational guidance to identify, develop, and produce recommendations for management and employment of military forces and to facilitate development of associated documents that enhance decision making and facilitate transition of plans toward execution. Analyze and manage assignment of globally sourced forces to the client, identifying and analyzing concerns associated with future force disposition, including discrepancies with rotational dates, cost factors, logistics issues, suitability or readiness for deployment, and mission specific assessments. Facilitate and manage client aviation plans, identifying and analyzing issues and recommending solutions for client aviation Plans and Operations, including all functions of Marine Aviation and deployment of aviation units. Facilitate planning and operational analysis to Operational and Contingency Plans, identifying and analyzing issues and recommend solutions related to employment of assigned forces for Operational and Contingency Plans. Facilitate planning and operational analysis to client Naval Integration and recommend solutions to critical issues and force optimization. Identify and analyze issues and recommend solutions related to military forces integration, training, and operations with Naval Partners by attending periodic Marine and Naval forums to gain insight and participate in discussion. Maintain cognizance of, analyze, and understand operational and strategic level guidance, policy, and orders in order to recommend solutions and criteria to facilitate decision making or further analysis.

Basic Qualifications: 

-4+ years of experience in operational planning, preparation, and coordination with adjacent components and higher headquarters commands

-Experience with Pacific area of operations planning

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

-Completion of Career Level U.S. Marine Corps formal schooling related to Marine Corps Operations, including the Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS) or Command & Staff College
