IT Systems Administration and Assurance, Mid

Key Role:

Support installation and operations and maintenance of DoD IT systems while satisfying client requirements and intelligence assurance or Cybersecurity controls. Evaluate and recommend hardware or software products, train on new technologies, and provide technical guidance and training to junior administrators. Support standard operating procedures, refine processes, and identify best practices for system and network administration. Support information assurance processes to maintain system accreditation. Troubleshoot, resolve, and document system issues to support mission operations.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with system administration in network management

-Experience with monitoring, scanning, patching, and maintaining physical and virtual machines

-Knowledge of networked computing architectures

-Knowledge of communications protocols and data formats

-Knowledge of network routers, IP security, and Cloud computing

-Knowledge of DoD STIG's and the NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework

-Ability to troubleshoot complex network solutions and IT issues

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree or 5+ years of experience with systems administration

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with tools, including VMware, ACAS, HBSS, container virtualization, network auditing, firewalls, routers, switches, identity and access management, and Windows and Linux operating systems
-Possession of excellent analytical and time management skills
-BS degree in IT or related technical field preferred
