Post Delivery Hull Manager

We have an opportunity for an acquisition program manager to join our team providing technical and administrative expertise and support services to a US Navy PEO in the execution of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) ship production, to include communications management, technical program expertise and program support. You will directly facilitate the implementation of policies and the execution of life cycle program management to support project decision making and controlling program costs, schedules, and performance. You'll work with program leadership to ensure effective and efficient program planning, implementation, monitoring and control solutions. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you'll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. This is a chance to directly impact the US Navy by contributing to program management and helping to eliminate risks across projects. This key program role includes coordinating and monitoring ship post delivery testing, integration, and maintenance activities within the program office and work independently to provide analysis of program impacts. Identifying and creating strategies supporting the accurate program management of new construction naval surface ships during the Post Delivery phase including all installed systems, equipment, and components. You will ensure version control and configuration management processes, policies, and procedures are followed on internal and external communications and processes within the program. Advise the program office leaders on project management and interface with program stakeholders to ensure support provided meets or exceeds all work performance objectives and standards.

-15 years of experience with military or shipbuilding programs
-10 years of experience with Navy program offices and Department of Navy (DoN) related ship Post Delivery support
-Knowledge of the Navy acquisition processes, including regulations, directives, and statutes, the Navy's application of the DoD acquisition process, such as contracting and sea trials, and key naval ship acquisition roles and organizations
-Ability to understand contract documentation, reading contract data, and familiarity with Navy financial tools
-BA or BS degree
Nice if You Have:
-Experience with US Navy Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) production and delivery
