Post Delivery Manager

We have an opportunity for an acquisition program manager to join our team providing technical and administrative expertise and support services to a US Navy PEO in the execution of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) ship post-delivery phase, including communications management and expertise in technical program and program support. You will directly facilitate the implementation of policies and the execution of post delivery activities to support project decision making and controlling program costs, schedules, and performance. You'll work with program leadership to ensure effective and efficient program planning, implementation, monitoring and control solutions. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you'll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. This is a chance to directly impact the US Navy by contributing to program management and helping to eliminate risks across projects. You will plan, coordinate, and monitor the ship's post delivery program, including testing, integration, and maintenance activities within the program office and work independently to provide analysis of program impacts.You will identify and create strategies supporting the accurate program management of new construction naval surface ships during the post delivery phase, including work package planning and development, trial card adjudication, work authorization, post shakedown availabilities, and the conduct of test and trials. Advise the program office leaders on project management and interfaces with program stakeholders to ensure support provided meets or exceeds all work performance objectives and standards.

-15+ years of experience with US Navy new ship construction post delivery phase processes, including work package planning and development, trial card adjudication, work authorization, post shakedown availabilities, and the conduct of test and trials
-Experience with managing complex ship engineering or technical efforts
-Experience with developing acquisition strategies, plans, and contract plans and strategies for ship availabilities
-Knowledge of Navy acquisition processes, including regulations, directives, and statutes, the Navy's application of the DoD acquisition process, such as contracting and sea trials, and key naval ship acquisition roles and organizations
-BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with US Navy Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) Freedom class variant production and delivery
