Provide government procurement requirements support across all federal agencies. Support purchasing activities for all contract requirements to obtain competitive quotes and price analysis for purchasing actions under the micro-purchase threshold. Assist team members in securing competitive quotes for proposal effort and bills of material. Award purchase orders and P-Card transactions in accordance with Booz Allen policies and federal acquisition regulations (FARs). Assist with the negotiation of terms and conditions with suppliers and with the review and negotiation of license agreements. Handle multiple requirements in a high demand environment to meet critical deadlines. Provide guidance to client staff.
-1 year of experience in a professional work environment or with procurement
-Experience with evaluating requirements for hardware and software to support US government client contracts
-Experience with soliciting suppliers via request for quotes and verbal requests
-Experience in negotiating with suppliers to obtain commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products at most favorable terms, quantity, price, and delivery
-Knowledge of FARs
-BA or BS degree or 2+ years of experience with procurement in lieu of a degree
-Experience with ensuring procurement documentation is compliant with all federal regulations governing records retention
-Experience in maintaining communications with suppliers during procurement
-Experience in assisting employees with adhering to established policies and procedures
-Possession of excellent customer service skills
