Quality Assurance Manager, Senior

Key Role

Play a key role as a team member in the Booz Allen quality organization that oversees the entire quality program for the firm, including applicable certifications and ratings, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and CMMI. Participate broadly towards the goals of the program and apply interpersonal expertise for effective communication with technical and management personnel at all levels of the organization. Provide quality management oversight for certified sites and projects, including development and services projects, participate in planning, execution, and follow-up activities relating to ISO 9001 and AS9100 audits, leverage technical delivery experience with hardware development, including prototyping and fabrication, associated processes, and environments to assist with assessment and mitigation of project risk at start-up and throughout the project life cycle, and perform review of proposals for adequacy of technical content and quality provisions. Provide status and input to Quality Management Reviews and other data calls. Develop and deliver training to disseminate required knowledge among the quality team members and users of the quality systems, as needed, develop new processes, and support the maintenance and transition of current processes to an integrated format and tool. Provide inputs during reviews of process documentation and support tasks towards achieving the goals of the quality program.

Basic Qualifications

-7+ years of experience with quality assurance

-Experience with delivering or providing quality support for engineering and science solutions as a technical project member or lead, quality lead, or project manager, where fabrication or prototyping took place in a technical facility or controlled laboratory environment

-Experience with the control of inspection, measuring, and test equipment for calibration, electrostatic sensitive devices (ESD), and limited life items, including shelf life

-Experience with supporting and conducting AS9100 or ISO 9001 audits

-Experience with risk assessment to support technical project delivery

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS degree

Additional Qualifications

-Experience as a quality management representative

-Experience with additional models and standards, including CMMI or ISO 20000

-Experience with a process modeling tool, including Visio

-Experience with providing proposal support, including for required quality topics

-Experience with providing training support for quality processes and implementation

-Knowledge of US government contract technical products and services

-MS degree

-Completion of the AS9100 Rev D Lead Auditor Course
