Perform professional engineering and scientific work involving chemical processes utilized by industries and scientific technologies to produce products and systems. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.
Experience with working as an adhesives, chemical or surface engineer
Knowledge of the chemistries, forms, general usage and physical characteristics of commercially available adhesive systems.
Knowledge of surface engineering techniques used in conjunction with the various material substrates for adhesive application and bonding.
Knowledge of standardized testing methods associated with adhesive performance characterization.
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree
Experience in the development of military systems, to include market surveys, testing, and production.
Knowledge of military ground combat systems and support equipment, as well as engineering problem solving skills on military systems.
