Civil Health Strategy and Policy Consultant

Key Role:

Support a variety of internal and client-facing initiatives in support of Booz Allen's Civil Health team. Engage with clients to help them understand their organization and crystalize their goals, asking the right questions to draw out the client's objectives and vision. Analyze and succinctly present data related to policy, operations, strategy, business performance, opportunities, investments, etc. Gather and interpret data and develop recommendations and reports for management. Support the planning and implementation of large programs and initiatives, and regularly interface with management in an internal and client-facing capacity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with supporting efforts in the areas of policy analysis, government relations, and communications
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to conduct independent research, lead marketing and client-facing efforts, and create client-ready deliverables
  • Ability to define methodologies, work with teams to conduct data-driven qualitative and quantitative analysis, and make recommendations
  • Ability to ramp up quickly in new subject matter areas
  • Ability to leverage critical thinking, problem solving, and consulting expertise
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to develop and manage client relationships
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent data analysis and deck development skills
  • MA or MS degree with concentration in Public Policy, Healthcare, or Business
