Cloud Analytics Engineer, Senior

As a Cloud Analytics Engineer, you know how to design solutions that detect cyber threats in the cloud and meet customer needs. We're looking for an engineer who can create advanced detection analytics in the cloud that will stand up to known and evolving cyber threats.
As a Cloud Analytics Engineer on our team, you'll apply specialized knowledge of data analysis and threat detection to develop security solutions in multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments and protect our client's most sensitive information. You'll work on a dynamic, cross-functional team to develop end-to-end cloud data ingest platform that supports real-time threat detection and incident response to secure clients' cloud-hosted environments. You'll also coordinate with executives, clients, and industry leading vendors to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your client's goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective cloud-hosted solutions. Your technical expertise will be vital as you help customers overcome their most difficult challenges with large-scale data ingestion and processing, multiple data store types – including graph data, time series, spatial – high performance data streaming, data science, and the development of novel cloud threat detection analytics. You'll be able to broaden your skillset into advanced and emerging areas of cybersecurity like zero trust networks, automated incident response, and advanced analytics to support dynamic and secure cloud infrastructure. 5+ years of experience with data science, data analytics, machine learning, or data engineering
2+ years of experience with working in data ingestion, processing, and distribution in the cloud
1+ years of experience in developing and deploying data ingestion, processing, and distribution systems on and with AWS technologies and GCP
Experience with cloud-native log sources including AWS CloudTrail, CloudWatch, VPC Flow logs, Google Cloud Operations logs, formerly Stackdriver and security services including AWS GuardDuty, Trusted Advisor, and Security Hub
Experience with designing and implementing cloud security and logging solutions in AWS or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with building and supporting integrated solutions using code version control systems, including Git, SVN, and BitBucket
Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks, including Bash, Python, and PowerShell and configuration automation tools, including Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
Experience with Agile software development practices
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
2+ years of experience with cognitive computing, data integration, data mining, Natural Language Processing, Hadoop platforms, or automating machine learning components
1+ years of experience with data mining using current methods and tools
Experience with graph data stores, time series database, and other NoSQL technologies
Experience with multi-threaded, Big Data, and distributive Cloud architectures and frameworks, including using Hadoop, MapReduce, Cloudera, Hive, Spark, and Elasticsearch to conduct Big Data analytics
Experience with SIEM and dashboarding tools such as Splunk, Sumo Logic, and Elastic
Experience with building and supporting integrated and multi-cloud solutions in AWS and Google Cloud Platform
Experience with serverless technologies including Google Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda, and Azure Functions
Experience with IaC concepts and tools, including Terraform and Packer
Knowledge of one or more of the following: Jira, Git, Kafka, NiFi, Kubernetes, OpenShift (OCP), Docker, AWS Kinesis and Glue
Knowledge of data science tools and their integration with big data stores
Knowledge of data security policies and guidelines
BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical engineering field
