Contingency Planner SME, Senior

Key Role:

Create, execute, and administratively maintain Operational Planning Teams in contingency plans development and assessment efforts.  Develop contingency plans through the application of operational art and operational design in conjunction with the joint planning process. Provide mission analysis products, develop courses of action (COA) and COA analysis, assist with COA wargaming products and the drafting, coordination and approval of contingency plans.  Analyze, develop and integrate adversary-specific details in plans and targeting processes to include the development and maintenance of critical asset lists (CAL).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with joint operations at a command or higher headquarters level
  • Experience with creating operational or contingency plans for the joint DoD mission
  • Knowledge of space mission systems or operations
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with a high operational tempo
  • Ability to brief senior military leadership providing recommended way ahead and direction
  • TS/SCI clearance 
  • BA or BS degree

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 80,000 to 100,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
