Cybersecurity Analyst, Mid
Warnings about cyber threats are everywhere and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to defense and space clients. In all of this “cyber noise”, how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you – build your knowledge as an information security risk specialist who knows how to break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.
As an information security risk specialist on our team, you'll work with engineers, system administrators, and cybersecurity personnel to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan. You'll get technical, environmental, and personnel details from subject matter experts to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you'll help your team guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones. You'll work on translating security concepts for your client so they can make the best decisions to secure their mission critical systems. - Experience with applying engineering to IT or cyber problems
- Experience with technical writing on engineering or computer science engagements
- Knowledge of engineering or computer science principles
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential vulnerabilities or threats within those systems from an engineering perspective
- Secret clearance
- BA or BS degree
- Security+ Certification
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with space and ground systems or vehicles
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework
- Ability to evaluate risk using likelihood and impact analysis based on a comprehension of engineering and computer science principles
- MA or MS degree

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 60,000 to 75,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
