Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer
Help develop electronic systems and components to use with equipment and machinery. Support other engineers to perform tasks as needed. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry expertise. Help develop and contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with guidance.
2+ years of experience with Engineering and Science (E&S), Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E), and Science and Technology (S&T) efforts
1+ years of experience with integration to shipboard for warfare systems or electronic systems
Experience with Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), and Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) instructions, standards, policies, and procedures, Defense Acquisition Engineering, E3, EMI, and EMC testing, EMI problem investigation, Spectrum EMI and EMC analysis and assessment, the USN Optimized Response Plan (O-FRP), EMI Control and Mitigation, EMI Control Measure Drawings, Shipboard Electromagnetic Compatibility Improvement Program (SEMCIP) Technical Assistance Network, or E3 Team Online
Experience with airborne platform or deck plate electromagnetics
HS diploma or GED
Experience with RF and microwave engineering, EMP, E3 computation and RF simulation, or PCI testing
BA or BS degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field
