Information Operations Planner, Senior
Leverage information operations (IO) and strategic communication (SC) based research, analysis and planning experience to deliver an effective data-driven approach and capability to combat malign foreign influence. Synchronize, coordinate and integrate information-related capabilities (IRCs) to support and protect U.S. national interests in the Indo-Pacific region. Collaborate with team members and travel to international team sites to support strategic communication and messaging, and work with other Combatant Commands, Services, and subordinate units. Examine, analyze, and recommend the most effective methods, data sources, and technology solutions to provide effective operational messaging of Joint U.S. or combined multi-national operations, activities, and investments. This position will require up to 25% of travel.
10+ years of experience in information operations, military information support operations (MISO), or strategic communications (SC)
3+ years of experience in the Indo-Pacific Theater
3+ years of experience in information operations, military information support operations (MISO), or strategic communications at the Combatant Command level
2+ years of experience in working with strategic competition challenges
2+ experience with social media platforms and research with understanding of associated technologies and services
2+ years of experience in working with measures of performance and measures of effectiveness
2+ years of experience with Special Operations
Ability to travel up to 25%
BA or BS degree
Experience with security cooperation plans and activities under a combatant command's theater campaign plan (TCP) framework
Experience with the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP) or service equivalent
Knowledge of the Command and Control Information Environment (C2IE)
MA or MS degree
